DOM elements as _hyperscript components/objects/entities

This issue has been tracked since 2022-07-25.

I'm currently investigating whether DOM elements may be treated like components (or objects or entities or however you may call them) with their own methods (and, perhaps, properties - if need be, "virtual" ones)

I've understood that I can

send <method>(<named-args>) to <dom-element>

If I define element "methods" as (parameterized) event handlers.

However, is it also possible to get a result from an event handler? JQuery supports such a mechanism by triggerHandler, but _hyperscript?

Note: meanwhile, I've been able to call an element-specific _hyperscript function using the "pseudo command" mechanism (which looks nicer than the event approach) and got the desired result back!
