If I have a :: b in two notes with the same deck tag then I get two duplicate cards to the same deck. This is not generally desired behaviour. Maybe don't add a card if it already exists and give a warning.
@st3v3nmw can this get a high priority because it is an elementary feature?
I think it would suffice that the detection happens only when cards are added. This can be a silent operation (optional): a card is silently ignored if its frontside is already contained in the deck. Comparison ignores case and basic punctuation.
